We often say, "It takes a village to raise a child" and the STEMM Program which supports young pregnant and parenting women to re-engage in education is so appreciative of the village we have on the Sunshine Coast. Mooloolaba Rotary is a wonderful organisation of volunteers who have worked tirelessly to upgrade and repair the sandpit and the Doctor's/Beauty Room at STEMM so both are safe and functional for the children and our young mothers to use.
Tracey Wilkins is pictured receiving a Certificate of Appreciation on behalf of North Coast Plumbing who generously donated their time and materials to carry out the refurbishment of the Doctor's/Beauty Room at STEMM. We are so grateful to have the beautifully renovated room which is far more functional for the Program.
The team at Mooloolaba Rotary painted the Doctor's/Beauty Room to complete the renovation and also repaired the rotted boards in the sandpit in the children's playground to improve safety for the STEMM bubs and toddlers at play. What an awesome team!
Thank you Mooloolaba Rotary and North Coast Plumbing! How wonderful a day can be when kindness touches it!
